As anglers and hunters, we are taught that fish/game activity is most prevalent during the times of sunrise and sundown.  Therefore, this is when we concentrate our efforts to be on the water or in the woods.   As a result, many of us do not fish or hunt the late morning or early afternoon.

Meanwhile, the moon passes overhead and underfoot with little or no notice.  Opportunities are being squandered!

Yes, there are times other than sunrise and sunset that affect fish/game activity and that would be moonrise, moon set and moon phase.

There are up to four times a day (some days the moon does not rise) where fish and game are most active.  So why aren't we out there?  These times, when taken in conjunction with the peak of a new (dark) moon or full (light) moon are simply the best possible time/day solutions, predicting heightened fish/game activity.
